The cracks of my heart

I Spent so much time running
As though pushed by yet an unconscious fear of stillness
The quietness allowed space to the clash of my heart mourning yours
A sound I failed to ready the courage to listen to
And so I run
Into you to quiet the tumult that required yet a higher pitch of serenity to dissolve
And then from you when the home in your heart turned cold, ruthlessly wordless
